About This Wine
Botas de Barro
Spain has, without a doubt, the largest number of old vines in the world and therefore produces high quality wines. Botas de Barro pays tribute to the generations of farmers who have pampered these vines for generations, walking through the rows, ensuring
their perfect conservation for future generations. The range was created by British born Nicola Thornton with the sole objective of creating a better route for sustainability for the old vines of Spain.
Very few people realise how much effort goes into each bottle of wine. It takes years from the time the vines are planted until the first bottle can be poured into a glass and enjoyed! Botas de Barro is a range of wines made in traditional wine-growing regions of Spain where the efforts of generations of farmers and great quality have gone hand in hand for centuries. With each bottle of Botas de Barro they raise a glass and thank the many farmers who have worked tirelessly to cultivate these very special vines that today allow us to make this range of quality wines.
