Chateau Haut Mouleyre is found near the village of Esocussans, on the bank of the Garonne, near the town of Cadillac. Cadillac is an old fortified town, populated since the tenth century by the monks who laid out the vineyards. History and heritage are a part of the region's richness.
The vineyards sit on an exposed hillside overlooking the Garonne which allows them to make the most of the sunshine and excellent drainage. The variety of terriors found on the hillsides benefits the plots and gives the wines their full personality.
