Vollereaux Brut Nature Blanc de Noirs

FR0222+-+Vollereaux+Brut+Nature+Blanc+de+Noirs.jpg

The first nose evokes spicy, peppered notes and light tobacco which, with aeration, gives way to aromas of zesty citrus fruits and a marmalade of orange. The attack is frank and of a beautiful freshness. All of these aromas give harmony and a beautiful length.

Champagne Vollereaux

The roots of Champagne Vollereaux date back to 1805, when the Vollereaux family began cultivating grapes in the villages of Pierry and Moussy. In 1923, after the Great War, the ambitious young Victor Vollereaux, born into this winemaking tradition, launched his own wine venture. His dedication and passion soon attracted a loyal clientele, and the business steadily grew into the celebrated Champagne house we know today.

Champagne Vollereaux, unlike many other Champagne houses, perpetuates a tradition where champagne is not reserved solely for special occasions but can be enjoyed throughout the meal, with the champagne creating the occasion rather than the occasion calling for champagne. This approach highlights the versatility and charm of their wines, catering to both everyday enjoyment and special moments.

Under the leadership of winemaker Franck Vollereaux, Champagne Vollereaux has become renowned for its "casual chic" house style—elegant yet approachable. His sister, Hélène, manages tourism activities, while their uncle, Jean-Marie, and cousin, Maurice, oversee the work in the vineyards. In 2023, the estate was awarded House of the Year at the prestigious Trophées Champenois ceremony, marking the 100th anniversary of their first bottling in 1923.
